Meet our team at Saddleback Pediatric Medical Group, Inc! Please take a few moments to learn about our skilled practitioners and our friendly, nurturing staff.
At Saddleback Pediatric Medical Group, Inc, we consider it both a great joy and responsibility to care for children. Most of us are parents ourselves, so we strive to be understanding and available to the families we are privileged to serve. We are honored that you have chosen us as your child's primary medical provider and are confident that you will be pleased with the quality of care and service that we can provide you and your family.
A vital part of our service to children begins with our outstanding staff who works hard to manage and maintain a professional, caring and supportive environment for our patients in a timely manner. Our doctors are lifelong learners. Not only have they received advanced medical training in pediatrics, they continually pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest in child health care.
Your child's health is as important to us as it is to you. We look forward to providing you with excellent medical care your child deserves.
Wesley Y. Kim, M.D., F.A.A.P.
I have been in general pediatric practice for over 30 years. I take pride in being as thorough and complete as I can be. I also like to answer questions and explain things fully to parents. One of the joys of my practice has been to watch kids grow up from birth to adulthood and to see them bring their own children in to see me.
Dr. Kim attended college at the University of California, Irvine where he graduated with honors. He went to medical school at the University of California, San Francisco. He did his residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and L.A. Children’s Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is the senior partner of Saddleback Pediatric Medical Group, Inc. which has been serving the south Orange County area since 1974. Dr. Kim is very active in the local medical community with many years of service on the Executive Committees of CHOC Children's Hospital at Mission and at Mission Hospital. Dr. Kim has also served as Chief of Staff at CHOC Children's at Mission Hospital and Chief of Pediatrics at Mission Hospital. He has been recognized as one of America’s top pediatricians.
During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, and is involved with many of his children's activities. He loves singing in the Saddleback Community Chorale. He is an avid reader and also enjoys traveling, fine dining and skiing.
